1. Aaron Pflugrad is the Second Coming of Joe Reitzug.
2. Pete Carroll and Jack Hanna were separated at birth.
3. The bravest soul in Autzen Stadium was the student getting tossed in the air by the student section.
4. The second and third bravest souls in Autzen Stadium were the two USC fans walking up one of the aisles in the student section getting pelted with yellow pom-poms.
5. The Oregon Marching Band’s playlist needs to go “Separate Ways” from Journey, fly away like “Superman”, and get shaken up, not stirred, like a good James Bond martini.
6. Oregon football and basketball both run the spread offense.
7. If Oregon goes to the Rose Bowl or National Championship game, Matthew Harper’s game ending interception will replace “The Pick”.
8. The yellow was mellow at Autzen.
9. Fans coming back from half-time were in their seats so fast that you’d think half-time started a half-hour early.
10. Joey had to come to Autzen to watch a dual-threat quarterback running a dynamic offense.

the stands were empty in the donor section when half kicked off. in the GA, where us working folk sit, I yelled at a guy for asking me what happened cause he wasn’t back in time to see how USC was moving the ball down the field. i personally will like it WHEN they close the stadium.

I’d agree with everything except number 7. the “pick” will never be replaced. a big moment it was, it will be remembered in a different way.

#7 is just hopeful thinking. Considering the number of times “The Pick” has been replayed (on Duck Vision alone), it seems like Kenny Wheaton has scored more times than Wilt Chamberlain ever did.

Jerry “Check-That” Allen, took being “half a bubble off” to new heights when he read the “Our Dixon your bootie” t-shirt on the air.
