Marching Band needs to learn some traditional Marching Band songs, that can get the crowd fired up, and stop trying to convert non-pep songs into the show. Keep It Simple Stupid!

You’re right. There has got to be a way that the OMB can be retain some tradition with a non-traditional style.
Also…While the football uniforms are not the worst in the country (not by a long shot), the band uniforms are easily the worst.

Thanks for noticing the THIRD CONSECUTIVE HOME GAME that the band has played music from James Bond movies. What the hell? Is the band so strapped for cash that they can’t afford new sheet music? And people wonder why the stands empty at halftime! If the band’s choice of music wasn’t so consistently AWFUL, maybe that beer in the parking lot wouldn’t be so appealing.

You nailed it. Essentially, OMB does not want to pay for the rights to play other music. Publicly, they can’t just play any music. Whatever they play at the games, they have to pay for.
Shoot. I’d even be willing to pass the helmet.

I sit in section 3 right next to the band… I swear to god if I hear the Superman theme one more time I might just have to pony up and sit in a “required donation” section! Ahhhhggggg! Its maddening…
