Jay, here.
You win at Mac Court for the first since 1995. So, how do you celebrate this momentous victory?

Does anyone have any U.S. Dollars?
You go to DQ, of course! (More specifically, you go to the Dairy Queen at the corner of Willakenzie and Coburg Road in Eugene. How did they get there? An “Experience Oregon” bus. Yes, yes they did.)

“We don’t have any of these fancy type of restaurants in Pullman.”
For the second time this evening, I needed my point-and-shoot camera and did not have it with me. Luckily my wife’s cell phone takes OK pictures. Well, I guess these will just have to do.

Every single WSU player used their full :35 to order. It took forever. (Derrick Low is the player profiled in the center foreground.)
How did I mourn this loss?
I went to DQ with my wife and the in-laws (I don’t know my mother-in-law anymore. She felt compelled to congratulate Kyle Weaver on the way out. Actually, what made it kind of annoying was the fact that Weaver was really gracious, smiled, and thanked my mother-in-law.). I had a chicken strip basket with Honey Mustard sauce and a Diet Pepsi.
You?

my wife and I went even “classier”… we got a 6 pack of Dead Guy ale, some cheese and crackers at Seven-Eleven, and went back to the hotel room.
Wow… maybe we should be in Pullman… no, they probably don’t have decent beer there.

wow, sorry you LOST and the only “burn” you have on us is that they ate at DQ? yeah… sorry… the team CHARTERED their own plane (hear thats not cheap) and were on their way out of eugene, so they needed FAST food, hence, DQ. get over yourself. you LOST.

I’ve been to Eugene. DQ is the only thing open after dark…you didn’t give us much choice of where to celebrate.
Tree hugging hippies…
GO COUGS!

Come on, Cougs. Lighten up. Just having a bit of fun with you. Your boys were very well behaved. Although, I think they picked a really good time to make a DQ run. In one of the busiest DQs in the nation, it was remarkably slow. After witnessing that game tonight, that was probably about the right pace.
Enjoy the win.

Cougbone -
You know it’s kind of funny you mention hippies. Check out “The Electric Kool-Aid Save Wrestling Protest”. The aforementioned “Experience Oregon” bus is the other bus in one of those pictures.

Calm down fellow Cougs. I realize that most of you found this page by following a link from an idiotic husky flamer, but Jay’s just having some fun. He isn’t being a jerk.

Jay,
Great shots! Photos, that is. Even at this late hour, you’ve made me want to jump in the car and go get a chocolate dipped large cone.
Perhaps our teams will meet again in the PAC-10 tournament. Good luck the rest of the way!

Actually I think it was celebrated at Papa’s Pizza across the street and then topped off with a trip through the DQ.
Either way it was a “good game…both teams played hard (Blazer fans should get that).”
And yes there is a DQ in Pullman…right next to the Chuck E Cheese that the Ducks went to drown their sorrows after losing in January.

The DQ in Eugene is the only place in town that doesn’t sell reefer brownies, so you gotta make due. Also the only bridge over to Springfield where you could get beer and gizzards was blown up by the Anarchists and Nilists who haven’t had anything to do since they left Seattle about 8 years ago…
