More questions still need to be asked about “altitude training” ethics. Salazar and Nike,internationally controversial “altitude training” pioneers and advocates, should have the guts and make the time for a community round table. But instead they are notoriously secretive which in my view is dangerous for athletes and coaches alike. NIKE will only treat the UO athletes and programs well if the media scrutinizes them in a informed manner. That provides an incentive for NIKE to behave reasonably.
