Watching paint dry.
That’s what watching Oregon’s first baseball practice in 27 years was like.
But, at least, there was baseball.
And here are a few photos from this morning’s practice at Thurston High School in Springfield.
Before we get to the photos, I want to share with you a couple of thoughts from practice:
• Coach Horton is going to emphasize defense over offense.
• Practice was heavy on the philosophy and fundamentals of baseball
• And I overheard one of the staff members describing the practice as about as interesting as “watching paint dry.”
