Just want to remind all Duck fans that the SW Washington chapter of the Duck Club is in the early stages of forming.

We had our first inital meeting on July 11th with nine Duck fans attendance.

Now I would like to I invite all Duck fans in the Vancouver/SW Washington area to jump on board! You don’t have to have attended Oregon, or have season tickets to any Oregon sports, to be a member.

We are inviting all fans to meet at Big Al’s for the next meeting on Thursday, Aug 7th at 7pm. Then, we will meet again on Aug 28th.

Come out and meet your fellow Ducks and talk about the upcoming football season! These meeting are pretty informal, just a few Quackerbackers getting together.

The long range goals of the new chapter are as follows:

1. Build our membership to 35-50 supporters, or more.

2. Build a web-page.

3. Recruit some club sponsors.

4. Work to be able to fund a full or partial athletic scholarship to the U of O from the SW Washington area.

5. Bring SW Washington fans closer to the University of Oregon and University of Oregon Athletics.

6. Gain official 501(c)3 non-profit status.

This is a great way to show your Duck pride and stick to the Huskies and Cougars in SW Washington!

So, jump on board and GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
